J-28467-550 is required as current engine support beam adapters do not mount securely to the 2008 Cadillac CTS structure.
J-28467-550 is designed to interface and properly distribute the load to the vehicle structure when the engine support fixture is used. J-28467-550 is also designed to raise the engine support fixture support beam above the supercharger on the 2008 Cadillac CTS. Attempts to support the engine without J-28467-550 may result in increased labor time and/or component damage
