DT-52678 Turbine Shaft Rear Seal Installer Tool

Application: 2020 Silverado and Sierra with 10L1000 Transmission

DT-52678 is a 3-piece seal installation kit for the 10L1000 transmission consisting of a protector, pusher, and sizer. The protector prevents the solid Teflon seal from damage as it is slid onto the end of the shaft and into its seal groove. The pusher has expandable fingers that evenly push the seal down over the protector.
Once the seal is installed, the sizer is slid over the seal compressing it to the correct OD dimension to allow the ID of the mating component to be installed without damaging the seal.
