The tool does work great for both the intake and exhaust valves to pull the rocker arms and replace lifters. The instructions that come with the tool need work or a video would be nice. The Ford Motorsport high performance rocker arms are too difficult to use the flat screw driver method and this spring compression tool does the trick. Certainly better than having to unchain and pull the cams.
