Put this in my 5.4L 3V as part of the timing job. The phaser locking pin had deformed the original cam shaft on both sides. Truck runs great with both new cam shafts along with all the other components needed to complete the job. I purchased all the parts from freedomracing.com and saved a lot of money compared to the kit sold on the website named after a rain forest in South America. Followup from Freedom Racing: These cosmetic blemishes are common with the OEM Ford camshafts. We hand-inspect each one when we receive them and refuse the ones that have anything more than cosmetic blemishes. Ford seems to have batch issues from time to time.
