This sensor causes the service engine soon light to come on upon every startup on my truck. It stays on for 30 - 60 seconds then you can hear the engine idle change then the light goes out. I'm assuming it's because the oil port on this sensor is TINY compared to OEM. I don't know why they couldn't make the hole the same size. I replaced this sensor with an OEM and the SES light doesn't come on anymore. I should have known better. I always change electrical parts with OEM, but I thought I would try this one because of the price and reviews looked good. But this just confirms it for me........stick with OEM. Im always nervous about ordering from websites I've never used before, especially when I find a part that is a hundred dollars cheaper than at AutoZone. I have had the sensor in the vehicle for about 2 months and 10,000 miles it is well worth the money and a good aftermarket replacement. Don't purchase the cheap ICP sensors from the giant sites because if you read the reviews they are junk. This one is a great buy for the money and save you about 50% or more over the parts stores and OE parts. Oh yes it plugs in to the original wiring connector. (Posted on 5/11/2018)

Not a mechanic, but I tore the ICP sensor off when removing the A/C unit to get to a broken fuel line. This part went on much easier than the old one came off. I don't really know what it does, but my check engine light went off after I installed it and I'm happy! Besides, the price was great compared to factory prices!
