The fuel gauge on my dash hadn't worked for about a year and I decided to finally get it taken care of. I brought it to a dealer for a diagnostic; they told me I needed a new fuel pump and they quoted me $1130 for parts and labor. I bought the fuel pump I needed on Amazon for about $90, and bought this tool for about $100. After also buying some replacement socket wrench pieces, I ended up saving over $900. There's no way in hell I would've been able to get that damn metal lock ring off or back on without this tool. You guys were the only seller I could find with the tool in stock, and it shipped/arrived very quickly. I'm a very satisfied customer. Thanks! (Posted on 7/25/2022)

After trying other methods to remove the lock ring for several hours, I ordered the lock ring tool. It was robust which is a good thing since I had to use an 18" breaker bar with the tool to remove the old ring and then to install the new one. Installing the new one would have been almost impossible without the tool because you have to apply downward force in addition to rotational force to install. (Posted on 3/18/2022)
