It's will does work but, not good on setting preload past 2-3 notches.

I wanted to do the job right and spent the money to have the right tool to get it done. In the process of setting the preload on my differential I bent the hook on the tool, requiring me to finish the job with a hammer and a tapered punch to pound the adjuster ring to its final setting.
