Freedom Racing has become my go-to solution for automotive tooling since opening my shop two years ago. I recently had a sprinter van with the I5 Mercedes diesel and encountered a seized glow plug. This kit was exactly what I needed and it worked flawlessly. The kit is well thought out and includes EVERYTHING needed to extract the broken/seized plug. This kit for removing damaged glow plugs is money. Had 2 glow plugs on 2004.5 lly snap off. 1st welded nut on and got out. 2nd came loose but threads were compromised. I was impressed how complete this kit is. And how well it worked. Using stepped bit to start. Then tapped for puller to remove shaft/tip. Cleaned up threads with supplied tap. Put anti seize on new glow plug and installed. Making sure on each step, took @ a hour. (Posted on 12/20/2023)Rating
