First of all, fantastic and quick shipping from the team at Freedom Racing. With regards to the tool it is a genuine re-man? of a Ford specialty tool; that was used to separate the lower ball joint from the knuckle on a 2010 1/2 ton F150 with mild rusting. The tool itself does flex a little, and the flat face attached to the screw unfortunately will slip a little off of the stud of the ball joint as the tool begins to bend a little as force is applied. I would use this tool in conjunction with a 3lb hammer or the like when separating and you will have no problem. I recommend a larger heavier tool for anything 3/4 ton or up as this likely will not cut it. (Posted on 5/23/2023)Rating
