It took a while to figure out which kit I wanted to refresh my 2008/143k mile F150 engine. Freedom Racing offers a range of alternatives which is very much appreciated. I knew I wanted the high volume/high pressure oil pump and preferred to stick with Ford OEM parts. Including the steel ratcheting chain tensioners! So this kit was perfect for me. Don't forget the special tools (valve spring compressor and crank timing tool) that Freedom also carries. Truck is back together and runs so smooth. I purchased a 5.4 liter timing component kit for my 2010 Ford F-150. Everybody from the lady that took my order, to the tech I talked to everybody was extremely polite and helpful. This kit contains most everything you will need other than the valve cover gaskets and I believe the only reason for this is the different types of valve covers on the 5.4l engine. Containing all Ford parts makes it an easy worry free decision. (Posted on 1/28/2022)

Everything was as it was supposed to be. Kit was put together well. We'll see how everything works but so far excellent. As long as the cam tensioners don't collapse and the oil pump works as stated all should be good. Definitely solve the problem for the moment anyway. (Posted on 12/21/2021)
