I fought for a long time with getting my truck to run right. After deleting my phasers and dealing with that nightmare, I finally started looking to switch back to stock. The original OEM parts aren’t any good so I was wanting improvements over factory. Having the high volume/high pressure along with EVERYTHING else that needed was fantastic! Super easy to install and I didn’t have to run and get anything extra from the local parts store. Thanks to this kit my truck is running so good I got 14mpg hauling my trailer with my quads over a mountain pass. Before I would get 10mpg if I was lucky! So worth it!!! (Posted on 7/26/2021)

I am very satisfied with my order my truck was making a lot of noise and started stalling on me. Ill give the full version here. This is an involved job but not overly complicated I say buy the full kit because my chain guides were completely broken and my chain tensioner seals were blown out (both a very common problem) also my drivers side chain guide bolt was broke the same bolt that holds the discharge flange of my oil pump secure. It drilled out easily with a left handed drill bit.
The hardest part was removing my passenger side valve cover i was able to do it without evacuating my A/C. I had to unbolt my A/C accumulator and slightly flex the pipes but not terrible. The one thing that i didnt like about the kit was it came with the older style cloyes chain tensioners 9-5338 and 9-5339 which are a superior direct replacement to the new cloyes 9-5432 and 9-5433. I had to call the company and cloyes to verify this was correct and it was. The older style is a ratchet operated instead of hydraulic operated and does not have a seal on the backside I just wish they had instruction stating this because this took a lot of time calling the companies because i thought they sent the wrong part. I also ordered the high volume oil pump and was able to replace it without taking off my oil pan, though it was hard its doable getting the pick-up tube off and the oil pump replaced was easy but putting the inboard bolt back on was near impossible and took a long time (use a swivel head ratcheting wrench). This job took two of us a total of 22 hours BUT we had to drill out the oil pump bolt and i cut the passenger side valve cover gasket when installing and didnt realize it until my test drive. I had to lay the new gasket on the head then put the valve cover on and seat the gasket in the valve cover groove then tighten down the bolts. If you just buy the phasers you are risking that your chain guides are good and your chain tensioners are good and they are probably not, someone before me did the phaser replacement on this truck and now i am doing the full change out again, i have a 170,000 miles, do the full job or you are going to be doing it again
It was a tough long job but now i am contemplating buying this style of vehicle and doing this again its not as bad as it seems. (Posted on 7/14/2021)

I don’t typically write review however, with this kit I will. The part were shipped well, install like original, lined up perfect and I can’t think of any complaint. If I had any suggestion it would be to eliminate the oil pan gasket and add valve covers in its place. The oil pan does not need to be pulled on my 09 expedition to change the oil pump. Everything work as it should ! Thank you. Just side note it has only been a few days install, so I will say so far it is perfect (Posted on 6/20/2019)
