I am very satisfied with the service provided by the tech prior to purchasing the products. He know what was the exact problem with just me indicating what the engine was doing. It was a a very inexpressive fix if i was just to change the one cam follower that was damage and the hydraulic lash but he recommender to make the replacement of 5.4L 3V 2004-2010 Ford OEM Cam Phaser, Timing Chain, Upgraded Oil Pump, and VCT Solenoid Replacement Kit

I received the full OEM timing replacement kit for the 5.4 3v triton. I got everything I needed and once I took my truck apart it was really bad. Everything arrived on time, and was well packaged for a safe delivery. Haven’t installed it in my stock 2004 F150 (175k mikes) yet. Hoping to have in installed by the end of next week. Too bad Ford has to have everything re engineered or upgraded post production , but if some poor customer got stuck with one of these vehicles, this is the only kit I would use or recommend. Camshafts should have flats to hold cam while torque-ing the phaser bolts. Found no cam holding tool for this engine so I just stop crankshaft 3 teeth short of TDC mark. You can still easily line up timing chain marks and since no pistons are on top, you can move the cams all you want . Just DO NOT move the crankshaft.! (Posted on 5/17/2019)
