Just hit 10k miles with the new parts. All is working great! Power seems back to normal and all is running smooth and quiet. About the oil pressure, I upgraded to a Melling 360, so oil pressure should be fine for the remainder of the engines life.
Lash adjusters and cam followers were changed at the same time. I will continue to use non-synthetic 5-30w Havoline and a quart of Lucas oil stabilizer, it’s gone this far with it so I’ll keep using it. Next update will be at 50k unless something happens. (Posted on 8/24/2018)

It’s too early to tell how the parts will hold up. When I received the parts I was surprised to see that it was all made in China. Even the Cloyes guides. I could not tell any physical appearance differences between the Freedom Racing kit and the Evergreen kit I bought on eBay. It was installed at 366k miles, it did quiet the engine, no more chain slap, all new cam followers and lash adjusters might have helped too. As long as you don’t hear from me all is good. If I have a failure I’ll let you know. Thanks.

Followup from Freedom Racing: We don't think all of the parts are made in China but some of them certainly are. Cloyes, Ford, and Precision Auto CNC are all high-quality brands that we feel good about selling. Even if those manufacturers have some stuff made in China, they use the manufacturing facilities that comply with their standards. I can tell you that these are MUCH better than the Evergreen crap. Be sure to check your oil pressure because that's the number one cause of failed phasers. (Posted on 5/2/2018)
