EN-52579 Crankshaft Rotator Tool

Application: 2019-later Silverado/Sierra trucks with 3.0L Diesel (RPO LM2)

The flywheel bolts for the torque convertor are not easily accessible on 3.0L Diesel (RPO LM2) engines and must be accessed through the starter opening. The engine must be turned by hand to access each bolt, and there is no access to the flywheel or convertor at the transmission bellhousing to turn the engine.

EN-52579 engages the crankshaft hub at the front of the engine, and is used with a ratchet to turn the engine to access the torque convertor bolts. Unapproved methods will damage the ring gear.
