EN-51767-A 2.5L 1.8L Stretchy Belt Installer Tool

If you are working on the LV1 4.3L engine in the 2018 to current Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana the EN-51767-1 tool will NOT work, and there is no current tool in production that will. GM is working on a solution and we will update this info once they have a solution.

Applications:

  • Buick Encore model years 2016 and 2017.
  • Chevy Colorado, Malibu, Orlando, S10, TrailBlazer, and Trax model years 2016 and 2017.
  • Holden Colorado 7 model year 2016.

More engines have the accessory belt tensioner removed, requiring a "stretchy" belt that must be installed onto its pulleys with the balancer and components already installed on the engine. During installation, the belt must be guided into the pulley grooves without being over-stretched, and without catching on any obstructions that may be present at the front of the pulley. EN-51767 will fit multiple pulleys and multiple engine families, allowing use across more applications. To install, the belt is placed onto one pulley of the system, and an EN-51767 installer and the other end of the belt are started onto the other pulley. The pulley with the belt installed is turned, and the EN-51767-A installer is guided around the other pulley to install the belt. EN-51767 also includes a length of webbing to help remove the existing belt. Unapproved methods will damage the belt or the pulley.
