Crankshaft Rear Oil Seal Protector EN-47839

Applications: High Feature V6 2.8L 3.0L 3.6L

Used with J-42183/EN-42183 or J-8092 Driver Handle.

The rear main seal is no longer supplied with an installation guide, and, due to the crankshaft bevel, installation without a guide will result in leaks. EN-47839 bolts to the rear of the crankshaft, and pilots the seal and housing into position. Because of the crankshaft bevel, the Driver Handle can be installed onto EN-47839 to hold it or remove it from the engine.
