J-41480-5 Modification Template (J-41480 to J-41480-A)

The interface and bolt patterns have changed on the front and rear of the block on 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, 6.0L, 6.2L, and 7.0L V8 engines. The revised interface and bolt patterns make existing J-41480 Front & Rear Cover Alignment Tool difficult or impossible to install, and can interfere with the gasket locating tabs. J-41480-5 is a modification template decal, which is applied to the bolt surface of J-41480, and indicates which bolt holes need to be drilled larger or slotted, and where a portion of the plate will need to be removed.
