T40243 Belt Tensioner Adjuster Alt

Used for slackening the chain tensioner. Allows you to work on or replace the timing chain without the need to remove the front cover. This is necessary, for instance, when detaching the timing chain from the camshaft. This tool is essential for generation III and facilitates work on generation I + II.

Applications: All VW and Audi vehicles with 1.8 ltr. and 2.0 ltr. TFSI
