Seal Installer Tool J-46405 D

The axle shaft seal is being updated for improved performance. Currently Essential J-36797 Seal Installer will no longer fit to install the updated seal. J-46405 is designed to fit the new seal in both on-vehicle and unit repairs, and also fits the first design seal. Its handle is long enough to allow the technician to change the seal on-vehicle without removing the axle housing cover, and its pilot will center the seal over the differential stub. Unapproved installation methods may damage the seal.

• Cadillac CTS, Escalade, Escalade - 2WD, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, and SRX model year 2004.
• Cadillac XLR model years 2004, 2005, and 2006.
• Chevy Astro - 2WD, Astro - 4WD, Avalanche - 2WD, Avalanche - 4WD, Blazer - 2WD, Blazer - 4WD, C Cab/Chassis HD (GMT 400), C Silverado - 2WD, Colorado Pickup - 2WD, Colorado Pickup - 4WD, Express, and Express - model year 2004.
• Chevy Corvette model years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, and 2013.
• Geo Tracker - 2WD and Tracker - 4WD model year 2004.
