Some Mercedes engines are equipped with a 2 spark plug wire and/or metal boot per cylinder set up. This 17mm wrench with its angle along its tapered machined surface of the box end allows it to fit into those metal spark plug boots after the coil pack has been removed. This tool helps to ensure that the metal boots and plug wires remain damage free during removal.
